Egg Donation

Considering Egg Donation

There are many reasons why an individual or couple may choose egg donation.  For some, egg donation allows the struggle with infertility to finally cease.  For others, egg donation allows individuals or same-sex couples to start creating a family.  Whatever the reason, egg donation has made a dramatic difference in the lives of countless individuals.

At Ohio Reproductive Medicine, we believe that infertility does not have the be the end to a quest towards parenthood.  We work with you to help make your dreams of holding a child in your arms, a reality.

What Is Egg Donation?

Egg donation is the process of finding an egg donor with the qualities that you are looking for in your family.  We provide the profiles of egg donors who have been screened through psychological and medical testing. Intended parents are then able to choose the donor whom they believe would best compliment their families.

After an egg donor is chosen, the donor eggs will be prepared for egg retrieval.   We work to time everything so the egg donor and the intended parent are on the same cycles for the best chance for successful pregnancy.

I'm thankful for Ohio Reproductive Medicine as I'm 10 weeks pregnant after our second attempt with IUI. I'm so glad there are fertility doctors out there who are not just about their bottom line and padding their success rates.
